Learning about business
For the third year running, the programme A scuola di Impresa
has built bridges between Sarlux and schools, creating a fruitful exchange between students and the world of work.
From 2014 to the present, we have welcomed to our site
about 500 students
as part of our short School-Work Experience Seminars, which we have called Learning about business.
The aim was to:
supply students with first-hand information
on company organisation, workplace safety, human resources, training, and the management of a complex company whose holding is listed on the Stock Exchange.
To open a window onto the world of business and thus favour initial approach to the world of work.
Each work experience programme is tailored to the specific kind of high school involved, and to its syllabus. This ensures the experience meets each school’s training needs.
Thus we spoke about ship and cargo transport safety with the students of Technical High School ‘Buccari-Marconi’ of Cagliari, of process automation systems with students of the Technological High School ‘Primo Levi’ of Quartu Sant’Elena (Cagliari), of industrial geology with the students of Surveyors’ High School ‘Bacaredda’ di Cagliari and we told all of them about our experience at Ulassai, in the stunning province of Ogliastra, where the Saras Group generates renewable energy at the Sardeolica wind farm.
A new round of student visits will start next September. Schools wishing to participate can fill in the request form to embark on a new work experience project.
