Prize for the best chemical engineers
Fabrizio Caschili of Fluorsid delivers the prize to one of the new graduates
The best young chemical engineers representing a resource for the economic and social development of our territory and who have decided to complete their University studies in Sardinia.
These requirements are met by the five graduates of the three-year course in Chemical Engineering and Biotech Processes who, on 12 October in the Main Hall of the Faculty of Engineering, in Cagliari, after obtaining their degree were awarded a grant of Euro 500 and a voucher for an internship at one of the main industries of the territory.
Sarlux, Fluorsid, Ecotec and Ecoserdiana are supporting the initiative of the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering, which has launched a competition to select the best students of the three-year course who decided to remain in Cagliari also for their two-year master degree. A way of countering the ‘brain drain’ from Sardinia.
Francesco Marini of Sarlux gives a prize to one of the five chemical engineers
‘Prizes were awarded to the most deserving students, those who with their dedication and ongoing study, stand out in their study courses and represent an important resource for all of us. As a chemical engineer who graduated in Cagliari I am proud that all the colleagues who graduate from our faculty manage to find work’ – explained the Chairman of Aidic Sardegna, Francesco Marini, after distribution of the vouchers, which took place on conclusion of the degree award ceremony.
