Saras, a year of major works at the refinery
A four-year investment of € 830 million, 40 contractors engaged for a total of 3,000 workers employed, 35,000 hours of training on safety and the environment: Saras started the year 2020 with a scheduled plant shutdown for maintenance works to ensure its production facility continues to meet the highest standards for safety, reliability, efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Most of the maintenance work has been contracted to local companies.
