Saras e Cagliari Football Academy
The Saras Group and the Cagliari Calcio Academy work together on both sporting and social projects, where they share the goal of developing many young athletes from Sardinia for whom sport must represent, first and foremost, an important training ground for life.
This month of April, Junior Reporter and Meet & Great took place, two initiatives that Saras, the main sponsor of the Cagliari Football Academy, dedicated to the young people of the area by involving the students of the Sarroch Comprehensive Institute.
Junior Reporter allowed six students from classes 1A and 1B of the lower secondary school of the Sarroch Comprehensive Institute to interview, during the Inter-Cagliari pre-match press conference, the Cagliari Calcio coach Claudio Ranieri.
The budding journalists, excited, asked the rossoblù coach many questions and, once back in class, wrote their “article”. The best was published in Domus Rossoblù, the official Cagliari Calcio magazine distributed at the stadium.
Another welcome and well-attended initiative was Meet & Great: a different morning for fifty-two children from the Primary School of the Comprehensive Institute of Sarroch, invited to attend a Cagliari training session, naturally there was no shortage of moments of photos and autographs with the players and the coach.
As part of the joint initiatives with the Academy, other events are planned in which the many educational values of sport are celebrated, such as tolerance, team spirit and loyalty.
